The feather-light Mountainsmith Scream 20 offers versatility for use as a sleek, stand-alone daypack, a compression sack, or a tag along summit pack tucked into a large backpack. Its 210D Robic HT construction gives the pack surprising durability considering it weighs just 14 ounces!
The minimalist pack does not have a structured backpanel, but it does include padded, tuck-away shoulder straps. A roll-top closure and integrated compression straps enable the pack to function as a stuff sack or as an 1160 cubic inch-capacity daypack. In addition to the roll-top entry, a vertical front zipper allows access to the interior without having to undo the top closure. A hanging interior pocket allows you to safely stow essentials and it also doubles as a hydration-compatible sleeve (hydration system not included).
